Robbie Dodson is a founding partner at Nuckels Media Partners. She is a former Campaign Manager, Field Director, and an award-winning political media producer and strategist.

Robbie has produced thousands of television, radio, and digital commercials for candidates and causes at every level – including President Joe Biden, Wesley Clark’s presidential campaign, and campaigns ranging from mayor and local office to U.S. Senate and governor. Robbie has produced award-winning media to help Uber and Airbnb win hard-fought public affairs battles and helped defeat former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

Robbie served as Political Director at Joe Slade White and Company for 25 years where she helped elect Democrats up and down the ticket. Clients included former Governor Jennifer Granholm, then-Governor Maggie Hassan, long-shot write-in candidate Mike Duggan for Mayor of Detroit, Congressman Chet Edwards and Congresswoman Betty McCollum, T. Boone Pickens and the Pickens Plan, and she helped AT&T win countless battles across the United States. Robbie helped the Portland Trailblazers with an image campaign, led non-profit media efforts for Laurene Powell Jobs, and she was key to the campaign of the Seattle Mariners to build Mariner Field and Paul Allen’s winning campaign to build Lumen Field for the Seattle Seahawks.

Robbie is an innovator in production processes and created a system for remote editing circa 2000, when told it wasn’t possible. She continues to stay ahead of the competition on production evolution, using her knowledge to maximize the cost savings and the delivery speed today’s technology offers – all while always on the lookout for what is next. She understands that campaign dollars should be spent communicating with voters and she tailors budgets to balance the highest production value with the client’s budgets. She passionately strives to deliver on the belief that all clients deserve the highest-quality production and creativity.

Robbie hails from Amarillo, Texas and the old saying is true – you can take her out of Amarillo but you can’t take Amarillo out of who she is – a no-nonsense Texan who loves her work and obsessively collecting and cashing in reward points to finance her love of traveling with her family.

Robbie teaches politics and media at the Campaign School at Yale Law School and the Campaign School at Lyndon B. Johnson Graduate School.
